Living Way Church Purpose Statement
In order to honor the Lord, our purpose is to share with people the hope, joy, and love found in knowing Jesus; preparing them to find their place in God's family .
Our Mission
The Bible, which we proclaim to be the Word of God, is the source for our faith and for our life. It is our intent to be a beacon of light for our community by presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ in such a way that the people of Concord and the surrounding areas come to know the love of God and his great plan for their lives.
We are committed to the healing of our neighbors, friends, and those in our community by being the servants that Jesus has instructed us to be. We will speak of His love and great salvation while we serve the poor, the needy, the homeless, the sick, and the bound. As a church family and as individuals we embrace the Great Commission (Matt, 28:19-20) to reach hurting people with the love of God without judging and without condemnation. We are convinced that Jesus loves us so much and that He always has our best interest in mind. The scriptures teach us that first He loved us and then He washed us.
It is our sincere desire to build quality Christians who reach out to the community and who reach in to each other through fellowship and prayer within The Living Way and who desire to unite with other Christians of the churches in our community.
We are interested in building strong families through the powerful and life changing Word of God. Strong families build strong churches.
The greatest and most important ministry of a Christian is his ministry to the Lord. The Lord loves our praises and dwells in them. It is the responsibility of the Church to teach people how to love their Lord in praise and worship. Worship becomes personified as our worship ascends unto the Heavens.
The Foursquare symbols stand for Jesus Christ as:

The Baptizer
with the Holy Spirit - "For John truly baptized with water,
but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit . . . you shall
receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you
shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" - Acts 1:5,8 (Jn. 14:16-17,
Acts 2:4, Acts 8:17, Acts 10:44-46, 1 Cor. 3:16)

The Healer
- "He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.
. ." - Matthew 8:17 (Mk. 16:17-18, Mt. 9:5-6, Acts 4:29-30)

The Soon-Coming
King - "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a
shout . . . the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who
are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in
the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always
be with the Lord" - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (Titus 2:12-13,
Mt. 24:36-44, Heb. 9:28, Lk. 19:13, Lk. 12:35-37.)
